We understand that confronting legal problems can be extremely challenging on many levels; logistical, emotional, and financial. We try to make the legal process as clear as possible to our clients to minimize the anxiety that almost inevitably accompanies these challenges.

From our very first visit, we will work to lay the foundation for a positive, productive relationship. First and foremost, we will listen to your issues and concerns and try to frame the legal issues that need to be addressed to meet your objectives. We will clearly explain our fee structure and billing procedures so that you can anticipate the costs that will likely be associated with your matter. Together, we will determine the best way to keep you updated with our progress, whether via periodic e-mail reports, telephone calls, mailed reports, personal meetings, or a combination of methods.

In order to optimize our time during our initial meeting, you should try to bring with you any documentation that pertains to your legal issue. We will review what you have brought with you and determine what additional documentation, if any, we need from you. Keep in mind that the more quickly you provide us with the information we request, the more quickly we will be able to resolve your issue. If we mutually agree that we have the expertise to best represent your interests, we will ask you to legally assign us as your representative so that we can begin work on your matter immediately to obtain the best possible results.

This is a general description of what to expect during an initial consultation with one of our partners. However, each client and each matter is unique. Please contact our office if you have any further questions about our approach.
